1. During scan and travel actions do you have to keep a continuous path from previous hex resolved or once the map fills can you scan or travel from any connected hex?
2. “Score points equal to the number underneath the left - most filled star?
3. So how do you fill in the stars on top of the scoring section? Where do the points come from?
I was playing during the Discovery phase, when you roll on the feature table, that you get the bonuses/hazards for both the scanned hex and the travelled hex? It’s clear that you ONLY resolve the traveled hex entered. So scanned hexes are there with features for the ship to travel to later in following turns to hopefully gain bonuses?
1. When a ship travels to a scanned hex with a center you get 3 center and immediately scan again. Any adjacent hex or the current number assigned to the scan? So obviously you now have an extra scan space to roll for a feature in discovery phase.
2. May use both the assigned die and R/Ov die during upgrade? Does this apply only to upgrade? So now you have 2 dice to fill in upgrades?
3. You spend 3 center to circle a die and make it wild. During Discovery phase you gain an exotic. If you use a wild use any number between 1 - 6? Or is it just the one circled?
Sorry for all the questions as a friend and I were asking the same things. I’m old so forgive me LOL!
Thank You so much. Love the mechanics of this game!

Who do I contact with rules questions?

A very unique and interesting game!
Thank You,
Robert Hansen
1. Yes you need to keep a continuous path.
2. Some of the tracks, (Cargo, Upgrades, Piety) have stars in them. When you fill a track up to a star, fill in a star on the star track.
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you found it interesting.
Thank you for the quick response to my questions.

You have figured out scanning and travel, yeah, you only get stuff you actually go to.
1. The idea here is that you immediately roll an adjacent space of your choice.
2. Yes, only to upgrade, yes you have two dice to apply.
3. If the number is circled you can use any number 1-6 instead of what is written.
There's a lot going on in this one so there's no shame in having questions. I'm glad you're getting so much out of it.
