Mystic West Troika!

An entry for Troika! Community Jam: Backgrounds.  I refurbished the backgrounds from an old blog post, adapted a couple I'd only ever posted on Discord servers, and wrote some new ones for a total of twelve new backgrounds.

The vibes from this one are generally absorbed from the entries to the Mystic Western Jam from 2016. 

I wanted to give players something to do with these backgrounds, so I've included a small hex crawl featuring baby stealing harpies, fratricidal bandits and an abandoned fort occupied by easily distractable ogres. While the backgrounds include older material, the hex crawl was made in about three hours. I'm pretty happy with the result.

The map was made using Hex Kit and the Fantasyland Hexes by Cone of Negative Energy.
