This is amazing, I have considered running this as a one shot and letting them keep the cart for the start of another adventure

I know this is old, but would you mind explaining how the point crawl works?

At each node, the players will make a skill check with their car's stats, adjust their position based on how it went, then choose which branch to take. I would let players gain advantage for smart or cool things their characters do. You may need to make it longer.

Just realized you probably meant the first point crawl. I would tell the players what they find in each node, then give clues about what lies in each direction. You'll need to flesh things out a bit.

yeah, the first one is what I was confused about. Thanks!

This is great! How much base stamina should I use for the players' kart?

Oh! Yeah that's important. I think 6

Thanks! I ran this for a group as our first Troika adventure, and it was a blast. I extended the race a little to give them a fighting chance at reaching first place.

That's a good note. When I get the chance to revisit this I'll probably do the same

This is the best as a first adventure

Nice, short, and the insanity of this world.
